At the DBT Center for Trauma and Healing, we understand that life can feel incredibly overwhelming at times. Even the strongest hearts can grow tired, and even the most resilient people sometimes need support finding their way through pain, uncertainty, or emotional suffering. You do not have to face it alone.
We meet you exactly where you are — with compassion, respect, and genuine care. Whether you are navigating intense emotions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-destructive behaviors, or feeling stuck in painful patterns, we believe healing and growth are possible.
Our approach is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), developed by Marsha Linehan. DBT is an evidence-based treatment designed to help individuals build what Linehan describes as “a life worth living.” DBT teaches practical skills to help manage overwhelming emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, increase mindfulness, and create meaningful, lasting change.
At the heart of DBT is the balance between acceptance and change — learning to accept yourself and your experiences as they are, while also developing the tools needed to move toward healing and growth. We understand that many behaviors and emotional reactions develop as ways to survive difficult experiences. Rather than approaching those struggles with judgment, we approach them with curiosity, compassion, and skill-building.
Reaching out for help is an act of courage. It is the first step toward reclaiming your peace, your strength, and your sense of self. Healing begins the moment you allow yourself to be supported, and you do not have to navigate that journey alone.
If you're ready to begin creating a calmer, more connected, and more fulfilling life, we're here to walk beside you every step of the way.
