Kids & Pre-Teens Skills Training Class
Our Kids & Pre-Teen DBT Skills Training Class is designed to help young people learn healthy ways to understand their feelings and handle big emotions. In this supportive group, kids learn core DBT skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication in ways that are fun, practical, and easy to understand.
Through guided activities and discussions, kids and pre-teens learn how to pause, manage strong feelings, solve problems, and express themselves in positive ways. These skills help build confidence, improve friendships and family communication, and give young people tools they can use both at school and at home.
Our goal is to help kids grow emotionally strong, feel more in control of their feelings, and develop skills that support resilience and healthy relationships as they grow.
