Jenin Alkhafaji, TLLP

Hi! My name is Jenin, and I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults and creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely comfortable being themselves. I especially enjoy helping clients work through trauma, deep-rooted emotions, identity, relationships, and the experiences that may be affecting how they see themselves today. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be heard without judgment, while also being encouraged to grow, discover your strengths, and become the person you want to be. With children and teens especially, I love bringing creativity, humor, and a little fun into therapy so that they can feel comfortable opening up and learning that therapy does not have to feel intimidating or boring! Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, exploring new places, laughing, and enjoying the little things in life. I am also a very proud cat mom to my cat, Coco, who I absolutely adore and who has, of course, convinced me that he is the most important member of the household!
